The Nexa ZED-2251 is a compact cordless 1D and 2D barcode scanner for retail, stocktake and mobile work. It reads 1D barcodes and 2D codes such as QR and Data Matrix, including codes shown on a phone or screen, and connects two ways: directly over Bluetooth or through the included plug-and-play 2.4GHz USB dongle. An 8-hour battery keeps it going through a shift, and built-in memory (batch) mode lets you keep scanning when you are out of range, then upload the data in bulk. It works with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android and is built to withstand drops from up to 2 metres.

Can it scan when it is not connected?
Yes. Switch to memory (batch) mode and the ZED-2251 stores scans while you work out of range, then uploads them in bulk when you reconnect. It is handy for stocktakes and collecting product data.
