Printer Driven Cash Drawer
High-Quality Printer Driven Cash Drawer at POS Sales Australia
The Cash Drawer has a 24-volt or 12-volt solenoid which triggers when printing the receipt or when the software sends the command to the printer to activate the port to open the drawer. This will generally happen automatically when you use the vendor's software but there are some cases where you will need to go into the printer driver and manually force the cash drawer to open, which is generally a simple procedure.
When you connect to the USB Receipt Printer or Ethernet Receipt Printer with the included cable, the cash drawer will open every time you complete a cash sale. Or use the included keys to manually open. You can connect to a compatible receipt printer using the included interface cable.
Printer Driven or Receipt Printer Driven Cash Drawers have a cable running out of the back or under the drawer which has a telephone-style connector at the end commonly known as an RJ11 or RJ12. This cable will plug directly into the Drawer Kick port of your POS Receipt Printer. Most of our POS Printer Driven Cash Drawers can add an under counter bracket which will also keep your new cash drawer out of sight and add valuable security.
Printer Driven pos Cash Drawers are the most typical cash drawer in the market and are widely used with PC, Mac & iOS (iPad) Solutions. When using an iPad to open a cash drawer, it is imperative to use a receipt printer and cash drawer combination in Australia as there are no single Bluetooth cash drawers available for purchase and therefore a receipt printer with a compatible cash drawer is the only way to have the cash drawer open automatically when a sale has been finalised.
We have a variety of brands, models, and sizes of cash drawers to suit all business types including Compact, Standard & Fliptop Cash Drawers.
