If you want a Posiflex terminal that simply arrives, sits on its base and runs a till, the PS-3615 is the one. It is the only model in our Posiflex range that ships with a base as standard, so there is no mount to specify and nothing to work out before it goes on the counter.
The specification is sensible rather than exciting, which is the point of it. A 15 inch TFT LCD at 1024 x 768 with projected capacitive touch, an Intel Apollo Lake J3455 quad core up to 2.3GHz with 2MB of cache, 8GB of DDR3L and a 128GB M.2 SSD, on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 64 bit, all in a fanless chassis on the Generation 7 slim line base.
The only one in the range that comes with its baseFour of the six Posiflex builds we stock are supplied without a base or in a pole mount configuration, because sites mount them into joinery, onto arms or onto poles. The PS-3615 is the exception. If nobody has planned a mount, this is the model to order, and the range table below shows which of the others will need one.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this one come with a base?
Yes, the Generation 7 slim line base is included. It is the only Posiflex build in our range that ships ready to stand on a counter without a mount being specified.
What is Windows 10 IoT LTSC?
The long term servicing channel. It takes security updates but no feature updates, so a terminal does not change behaviour or demand a restart for a new Windows release during trade. Most point of sale vendors certify against it.
Is 1024 x 768 enough screen for a till?
For most point of sale layouts, yes. They are designed around it and the larger button targets are easier to hit at speed. If your menu is large, look at the RT-5016 at 1920 x 1080 in the table above.
How does it compare with the RT-2015?
The PS-3615 uses a newer Apollo Lake J3455 processor and comes with a base. The RT-2015 builds use the older J1900 and are supplied without a base or in pole mount form. The range table sets them side by side.
Does it have a fan?
No. It is fanless, which removes the most common hardware failure in a till and stops it drawing airborne dust and grease inside.
How long is the warranty?
24 months return to base, which is shorter than the 36 months on the RT models.
