Will it run my POS software?
As a standard Windows PC, the 455W runs the vast majority of Windows-based POS applications, and its serial, USB and cash-drawer ports drive ESC/POS receipt printers, scanners and drawers. Can I connect a receipt printer, scanner and cash drawer?
Yes. It has 6 USB-A ports plus a USB-C, 3 serial (RS232) ports, a LAN port and a dedicated RJ11 cash-drawer port, so a printer, scanner, cash drawer and more all connect at once.
Does it support a customer-facing second display?
Yes. It has dual mini-DisplayPort outputs (one for the main screen, one for a second display). Element offers matching 455W customer displays (an 11.6" touch CDU and a 2x20 line display) to show order totals to the customer.
Can it be wall or pole mounted?
Yes. It is VESA-compatible on both the back cover and the foldable stand, so you can wall, pole or arm-mount it, or use the included foldable stand on the counter.
Is it fanless and splash-resistant?
Yes. The Intel N95 runs fanless, so the terminal is silent and resists dust with no moving parts, and the front has splash-proof protection that suits cafes, bars and food-service counters.
