Can the P135BT scan QR codes and barcodes off a phone screen?
Yes. As a 1D and 2D imager, it reads QR codes and other 2D codes as well as standard linear barcodes, from both printed labels and digital mobile screens.
What is the difference between 1D and 2D scanning?
1D codes are the traditional striped barcodes on retail packaging. 2D codes (such as QR and Data Matrix) hold more information and can be read from screens. The P135BT reads both.
Is it corded or cordless, and how does Bluetooth pairing work?
It is cordless. The scanner connects to your device or dock over Bluetooth, so staff can scan away from the counter. Pair it with your tablet, phone or POS as a Bluetooth scanner following the included instructions.
What is the cradle for?
