The SUNMI D3 PRO is the terminal SUNMI builds for a counter you actually have to look at all day. The 15.6 inch FHD screen sits in a thin bezel on an aluminium body, and the stand and base are shaped to hide the cables rather than let them spill across the bench. Underneath it runs SUNMI OS 4.0 on Android 13, driven by a Qualcomm hexa-core chip at up to 2.4GHz with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, so a full till application with a busy product catalogue stays responsive. Connectivity is everything a POS bench needs: Gigabit LAN, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three USB-A ports, USB-C, a serial port and a cash drawer port. This is the single-screen configuration, part number P01270009. A 10.1 inch customer display is available separately and connects with one USB cable.

One-touch loginSUNMI OS 4.0 ties the terminal to SUNMI One ID for remote deployment, and the power button can be specified with fingerprint recognition so staff log in with a thumb instead of a code.
Built to sit on a counter for years
At 380 x 195 x 310 mm and 4.5 kg this is a solid piece of equipment, and that is the point. The aluminium body and weighted base stop it sliding when someone jabs the screen at the end of a long shift, and the stand swallows the power, LAN and drawer cables instead of letting them loop across the bench. SUNMI puts the whole third-generation range on the same design language, so it looks like a till rather than a monitor on a stick.

Does this include the 10 inch customer display?
No. This listing is part number P01270009, the single-screen D3 PRO. The 10.1 inch customer display is a separate accessory that connects over one USB cable, is plug-and-play with no assembly, and adds a capacitive touch HD 1280 x 800 panel facing the customer. If you want the terminal and the display together, call us and we will quote the pair.
Will my POS software run on it?
If your POS has an Android app, almost certainly. The D3 PRO runs SUNMI OS 4.0, which is built on Android 13, and installs standard Android applications. The thing to check is whether your provider publishes an Android build and whether they certify SUNMI hardware specifically, because some platforms only support a named device list. Tell us who you run and we will confirm before you order.
What can I plug into it?
Three USB type-A ports (one of them USB 3.0) plus a USB type-C port, an RJ45 Gigabit LAN port, an RJ11 serial port, an RJ12 cash drawer port and an audio jack. In practice that covers a receipt printer, a barcode scanner, a cash drawer and a customer display at the same time, with a port spare.
Does it have a fingerprint reader?
It can. SUNMI lists fingerprint recognition on the power button as an option rather than standard equipment, so do not assume the unit you order has it. It pairs with SUNMI One ID for one-touch staff login. If fingerprint login is the reason you are buying, call POS Sales on 1300 026 062 and we will confirm the configuration first.
Does it do contactless payments?
Not on its own. SUNMI offers NFC with Tap on Glass for SoftPOS on the optional 10.1 inch customer display, not on the base terminal, so the single-screen D3 PRO has no NFC reader. Most Australian sites take card payments through a separate bank terminal anyway, which connects to the D3 PRO over the network or serial port.
Can I add storage?
Yes. There is a MicroSD (TF card) slot that takes cards up to 1TB, on top of the 64GB of internal storage. Useful if you are holding a large product image library or offline transaction history.
How big is it and how much does it weigh?
The terminal is 380 mm long, 195 mm wide and 310 mm tall, and it weighs 4.5 kg. That weight is deliberate: the aluminium body and weighted base mean it stays put when someone taps the screen hard. The optional 10.1 inch monitor adds 0.88 kg.
What is the warranty?
Twelve months return to base. If uptime is critical, talk to us about what cover is available before you order, because a terminal going back for repair takes the till with it.
