The Citizen CMP-30II is a portable Bluetooth receipt printer that puts full 80mm (3") direct thermal printing in your hand. Pairing wirelessly with iOS and Android devices through Bluetooth with Apple MFi certification, it is built for mobile point of sale, field service, delivery dockets and pay-at-table where a counter printer cannot follow the customer. This variant ships without a magnetic stripe reader (no MSR).

What paper rolls does the CMP-30II use?
It uses 80mm (3") direct thermal receipt rolls up to 56mm in diameter. There is no ink or ribbon, the heat-sensitive thermal paper is the only consumable. Media from 25 to 80mm wide is supported.
How do I pair it with my iPhone, iPad or Android device?
The CMP-30II connects over Bluetooth and is Apple MFi certified, so it pairs cleanly with iOS as well as Android. Turn the printer on, then pair from your device or your POS app's printer settings. USB and Serial are also available for wired connections.
How long does the battery last?
The printer ships with a 7.4V 2600mAh Lithium Ion pack rated for full day operation. The pack clips in and out, so you can carry a spare and swap it in seconds during a long shift.
How rugged is it?
It survives multiple drops from 1.5 metres and exceeds IP42 for dust and splash resistance, with a rubber moulded body for impact protection. It is built for delivery rounds, warehouses and outdoor use.
Does this model have a magnetic stripe reader?
No. This is the no-MSR variant, so it does not read magnetic stripe cards. It focuses on fast, reliable mobile receipt and label printing.
Will it work with my POS software?
The CMP-30II supports ESC/POS and CPCL, so it works with most POS apps that drive a mobile printer. Some cloud POS platforms such as Square only support specific approved hardware, so check your POS provider's supported-hardware list, or call us on 1300 026 062 and we can confirm before you buy.
Do I need to install a driver for USB?
If you connect over USB or Serial to a Windows PC, install the Citizen driver first, before plugging in the cable. Installing the driver before connecting is the single most common fix for a printer that will not print over USB. For Bluetooth from a tablet or phone, pairing is handled in your device or POS app settings.
