The Element P100 2D-SR USB barcode scanner is a corded handheld 2D imager built for scan-intensive applications such as retail checkout, stockroom and warehouse environments. It reads 1D and 2D barcodes (including QR codes and codes shown on phone or tablet screens), connects to your computer or POS over a single USB cable, and is engineered to keep working through everyday knocks with 1.5m drop resistance and an IP42 dust and splash rating.

Yes. As a 2D imager it reads 1D and 2D codes, including QR codes and barcodes displayed on phone or tablet screens, such as mobile vouchers and loyalty passes.
Is this scanner corded or wireless?
It is corded. The P100 2D-SR connects over a single USB cable, so there is no battery to charge and no pairing to set up. If you need wireless, ask us about the Element Bluetooth models instead.
What is the difference between this scanner and the P100 kit with a stand?
This listing is the bare handheld scanner. The P100 Kit adds a stand so you can mount the scanner for hands-free presentation scanning at a counter. Choose the kit if you want to leave the scanner in a cradle between scans.
How tough is the P100?
It is rated to survive 1.5m drops and carries an IP42 dust and splash rating, so it handles the bumps and spills of a busy retail counter or warehouse.
Will it work with my POS software?
In most cases yes. The scanner sends scans as standard keyboard (HID) input over USB, which the majority of POS and inventory systems accept without drivers. Some POS apps only certify specific hardware, so check your software's supported-hardware list or call us on 1300 026 062 and we will confirm.
