The USB-C port delivers up to 18 W of power to a connected device, so it can charge a tablet at the POS while also handling data, and supports network tethering at up to 20 Mbps. That means fewer cables and power adapters on the counter.
What's the difference between the TM-m30III and the TM-m30II?
The TM-m30III is the newer generation, it adds a USB-C port with Sync & Charge and network tethering, and (on the wireless model) built-in Wi-Fi where the m30II needed a dongle. Same compact footprint and 300 mm/s speed.
What paper does the TM-m30III use?
Standard 80 mm direct-thermal receipt rolls (58 mm is selectable), up to an 83 mm roll diameter, the common 80 x 80 mm till roll fits perfectly. No ink or ribbon is needed.
