The SUNMI FLEX 3 is an interactive display rather than a till. The 18.5 inch Full HD IPS panel runs at 400 nits behind a 16 mm bezel in a metal body 29.8 mm deep, so on a bracket or a stand it reads as a screen on the counter rather than a computer someone has left there. Behind the glass is a Qualcomm octa-core processor with an integrated AI accelerator, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, running SUNMI OS 4.0 on Android 13 with Google Mobile Services licensed, so your self-ordering or point of sale app installs the way it would on any certified Android device.

Built into the glass, not bolted beside it
What makes it worth specifying over a plain monitor is everything built into the glass and the back panel. NFC sits behind the display itself, so a customer taps the screen instead of a reader bolted alongside it. There are two gigabit RJ45 ports and a dedicated PoE port, 2 x USB Type-A, an RS485/RS232 serial port and four Micro USB ports for SUNMI's own camera, scanner and MSR modules. It is rated IP54 with an anti-fingerprint coating, and it mounts on a standard VESA 100 x 100 pattern. Where it fits
- Self-ordering. Quick service counters and restaurants where the customer builds the order themselves, with NFC in the glass for payment and the screen at a readable height on a stand or bracket.
- Self-checkout and retail. Scan and pay stations, price checkers and click and collect points, where a bright 18.5 inch screen carries clear instructions and a dust and splash rating earns its keep.
- Back of house and workstations. Kitchen display, visitor registration, electronic class boards and process workstations, where Android 13 and a gigabit network port are all the integration a site needs.
Before you order
- Decide how it will be held. No stand or bracket is included. It takes a standard VESA 100 x 100 mount, and not every SUNMI stand fits the 18.5 inch size, so tell us the installation and we will confirm the right one.
- Check your app. It is a GMS certified Android 13 device, so most Android point of sale and self-ordering software runs on it. If your platform publishes a supported hardware list, check this model against it before you order.
- Plan the cabling. There are two gigabit ports and a PoE port. If the site is already PoE switched, that can be one cable instead of two. If it is not, allow for a power point within reach of the 20V adapter.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the Standard or the Premium FLEX 3?
The Standard. SUNMI builds the FLEX 3 in two grades, and this part number, P11050015, is the Standard: a Qualcomm octa-core to 2.4GHz with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. The Premium grade runs to 2.7GHz with 6GB and 128GB, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. If you see a FLEX 3 quoted elsewhere with those higher numbers, it is the other build, not this one.
Does it run normal Android apps from the Play Store?
Yes. SUNMI OS 4.0 is built on Android 13 and the unit is GMS certified, which means Google Mobile Services are licensed and present. Your Android point of sale or self-ordering app installs the way it would on any Google-certified device, rather than needing a sideload or a vendor store.
Can a customer tap their card on it?
Yes. The NFC reader is behind the display glass, so the customer taps the screen itself. There is no separate reader to mount, cable or find room for. Whether that tap completes a payment depends on your payment provider and the app you run, so check that side with your provider.
What does the PoE port do, and do I need the module?
The unit has a dedicated PoE port alongside its two gigabit RJ45 ports. SUNMI also sells a PoE module for the range, which you can add to this order above. If your site already has PoE switching, this is the difference between one cable to the screen and running both data and a power lead to every station. Tell us how your site is wired and we will confirm what you need.
Can I mount it on a wall or a pole?
Yes, through the VESA 100 x 100 pattern on the back, using a third-party bracket. SUNMI also makes stands for the FLEX 3 range, and the Lite desktop and floor stands can be added to this order above. Not every stand fits every size, though: the retail floor and desktop stands are specified for the 22 inch display, not this 18.5 inch one. Call POS Sales on 1300 026 062 before you buy a stand with it and we will check the fit.
What can I plug into it?
Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, four Micro USB ports for SUNMI's own modules, an RS485/RS232 serial port, an audio jack and two gigabit network ports. Power comes in over USB-C from the supplied 20V 3.5A adapter. The MicroSD slot takes up to 2TB if you are storing media locally for a digital signage or ordering loop.
Is it tough enough for a public area?
It is rated IP54, which covers dust and splashing water from any direction, and the glass has an anti-fingerprint coating, which matters on a screen the public touches all day. That suits a counter, a foyer, a self-order station or a retail floor. It is not a washdown or outdoor rating.
What warranty does it carry?
12 Months Return to Base. Return to base means a faulty unit comes back to us for assessment and repair or replacement rather than an engineer attending site. Call 1300 026 062 if you want to talk about cover for a multi-site rollout.
