The Bixolon SRP-Q300 80mm thermal receipt printer with battery (SKU SRP-Q300BK/AUS) is an ultra-compact cube-format direct thermal printer built for mobile and flexible point-of-sale. Its integrated rechargeable battery lets it keep printing during brief untethered use, queue-busting, pop-ups and market stalls, while USB and Ethernet make it equally at home as a fixed countertop or networked POS printer. With no ink or ribbon to replace, it runs on standard 80mm thermal rolls.

Run the SRP-Q300 plugged in over USB or Ethernet as your everyday counter printer, then lift it off the dock and let the built-in battery carry you through pop-ups, market stalls and queue-busting. A fully charged battery prints up to about 10 rolls (600 m) of 80mm receipts, and the tablet charging port keeps an iPad or Android POS running alongside it. When the roll runs low, front feeding and front paper replacement make swaps quick even in tight spaces.

What paper rolls does the SRP-Q300 use?
It uses standard 80mm (3") direct thermal receipt rolls, with a 72 mm print width. There is no ink or ribbon to buy. We recommend 80 x 80 mm thermal rolls.
How long does the battery last?
On a full charge the built-in battery prints up to around 10 rolls (about 600 m) of 80mm receipts, which is ideal for pop-ups, markets and brief untethered use. For all-day fixed use, keep it powered from the mains and the battery acts as a backup.
Does it have an auto-cutter?
Yes. The SRP-Q300 has a built-in auto-cutter with a front paper exit, so receipts are cleanly cut and presented at the front of the unit.
Which interfaces does this variant have?
This SKU (SRP-Q300BK/AUS) connects over USB and Ethernet. Note that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are not included on this variant. If you need wireless, look at the SRP-Q300 B-Gate model instead.
Do I need to install a driver before using USB?
For USB connections, install the Bixolon driver before you plug the printer in. Connecting first is the most common cause of a printer that will not print. Bixolon provides Windows, iOS and Android drivers and a full SDK suite.
Will it work with my POS software?
The SRP-Q300 is ESC/POS compatible and works with most POS systems. Some cloud POS platforms (for example Square) only support specific printer models, so check your POS provider's supported-hardware list or call us on 1300 026 062 before you buy.
Can it charge my tablet?
Yes. A built-in tablet charging port can power an iPad or Android tablet, so your tablet POS stays charged while it prints.
