Is it cordless, and how do I pair it?
Yes, it is cordless over Bluetooth 4.2 and the base connects to your PC or POS by USB. To link it, sit the scanner in the powered base. For a direct Bluetooth connection to a tablet, hold the Bluetooth button until the light blinks blue (Secure Simple Pairing, default PIN 1234). What is the base for?
The included base both charges the scanner and connects it to your computer or POS by USB. Park the scanner in the base between scans to keep it topped up and ready.
Will it work with my POS software?
The USB base presents the scanner as a keyboard (HID), so most POS and retail software read scans with no driver. For a direct Bluetooth connection to an iPad or Android app, check the app supports Bluetooth HID or SPP.
