It uses standard 80mm (3") direct thermal receipt rolls, up to 105mm roll diameter. No ink or ribbon is needed. We stock 80x80mm thermal rolls to suit.
Is it really spill resistant?
Yes. The SRP-F310II uses Bixolon's Liquid-Barrier design with an IPX2 protection rating, so it resists splashes and dust. The front-exit paper path also lets you mount it under-counter, away from the splash zone. It is built for cafes, bars and other wet environments, but it is splash-resistant rather than fully submersible.
Does it have an auto-cutter?
Yes, it includes an automatic guillotine cutter rated to 3 million cuts, so receipts are cleanly cut and presented with no manual tearing.
Which interfaces does this model have?

Do I need to install a driver?
If you are connecting over USB, install the Bixolon driver before plugging the printer in. Connecting USB before the driver is installed is the most common cause of "it won't print". Drivers are available from Bixolon's support and downloads page.
Can I drive a cash drawer from it?
Yes. The printer has a cash drawer kick-out port, so a compatible cash drawer can be triggered to open automatically when a receipt prints.
